Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in person or over the phone
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for change and totals
- Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety standards
- Manage food handling and food preparation tasks efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Assist with serving food and beverages, including barista duties if applicable
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, barista work, or food preparation is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with food service or cash handling is advantageous but not mandatory
