We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join our dynamic Facilities Team.
Position Overview:
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking a motivated Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join our team and play a critical role in keeping our plant operations running smoothly.
In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll lead from the front — working alongside your team to load and unload trailers, manage inventory, and ensure products are accurately stored and efficiently distributed. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact the success of our daily operations.
This is an existing role and is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in maintaining organized workflows, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. Weekend availability is required, with specific shifts and hours determined in collaboration with management.
Key Responsibilities:
- To load and unload trailers or containers and manage accuracy of all supporting documentation.
- Manage shipping/receiving team and associated workflow.
- Provide training to shipping/receiving team.
- Ensure accuracy of inbound freight.
- Maintain company safety protocols and GMP.
- Open/Close building as required.
- Order selection and picking.
- Supply raw product to production as needed.
- House finish product into coolers for storage.
- Pallet strapping and wrapping as required.
- Manage product using FIFO principles.
- Assist in all other production duties as required.
- General cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift (FLT) and Power Jack licenses.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and safety conscious.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehousing.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends will be required.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments for short durations.
Physical & Sensory Requirements:
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to read health and safety signage and hear equipment signals (e.g., vehicle horns).
- Requires problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
