Assistant Retail Manager
Job Description:
The Assistant Retail Manager oversees daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and strong merchandising. This role also includes creating and managing product designs and stepping in when staff are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer issues and payment problems.
- Step in to work when staff are sick.
- Use Canva to design professional images for customers.
- Upload products and manage listings on Wix.
- Maintain appealing and effective product displays and merchandising.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to all shoppers.
- Assist with merchandising displays and ensure the retail space is organized and visually appealing.
- Operate Embroidery, Sublimation, and DTF equipment to press designs onto t-shirts, mugs, cups, and other blanks.
- Handle retail transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support vendor restocks, inventory management, and store upkeep.
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or management experience - required.
- Proficient in Canva and Wix - required.
- Strong problem-solving, customer service, and merchandising skills.
- Reliable and able to work flexibly.
- Willingness to learn sublimation embroidery and DTF pressing (t-shirts, mugs, cups, and similar items) is required.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Available from 9am to 8pm weekdays, and weekends. Schedule will vary 20-40 hours per week.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
