Front Desk Agent – Job Description
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing excellent customer service while ensuring smooth front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Handle reservations, bookings, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate guest records and process payments
- Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation/booking systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
