Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety.
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, serving, or food industry roles with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and measuring ingredients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
