Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in meal preparation and food handling techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not require
