MCG Careers, Inc. is recruiting on behalf of our employer partner, a local daycare, for a Full-time Child Care Worker position through the ACTION Workplace Training Program. No Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification is required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all childre
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum every week covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
- Working on opening or closing shift
- Assisting on the daily workflow of the daycare, assisting multiple rooms/age groups when necessary
- Change diapers and assist with potty training

Skills
- Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in nurturing young learners’ growth and development
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to childcare settings

Pay: $19.50-$29.00 per hour
