Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with plumbing and appliance repair, and the ability to interpret schematics. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
- Conduct inspections of HVAC units to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical problems accurately
- Repair or replace components such as motors, compressors, valves, and ductwork
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting and leak repairs
- Weld or perform construction-related tasks as needed for system installation or repair projects
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used for each job
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a strong understanding of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance, construction, or general mechanical systems
- Experience working with boilers or other large-scale heating equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid certification or licensing in HVAC or related fields is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
