SUMMARY: Responsible for performing bench or line assembly operations to produce fans and other related products. As well as order picking, shipping, receiving and inventory control functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description is meant to highlight your priorities, but is not all-inclusive.
- Follows work order instructions to assemble parts in specified relationship to each other to ensure quality products at all times.
- Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together by hand, or by using hand tools or portable power tools.
- Will be required to retrieve parts prior to assembly or deliver completed parts to designated areas.
- Clearly and accurately fill/complete paperwork (packing/receiving slips, assembly records).
- Keep equipment and area clean at all times. Performs other tasks as necessary for the improvement of the department.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse (trash & recycling disposal, floor sweeping, etc.)
- Will be assigned to different work centres (order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory control, etc) as business needs require.
- Observe all company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work additional hours to support the organizations needs.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.
- Some heavy lifting may be required.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Punctuality and attendance are critical to continued employment.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimal computer skills in the Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to read and interpret English documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
EXPERIENCE: Previous assembly or mechanical experience.
HOURS: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
