Fleet Maintenance Technician – Truck & Trailer Repair
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment.
Duties:
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers.
- Repair brakes, air systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Perform oil changes, servicing, and general mechanical repairs.
- Repair trailer lights, wiring, doors, landing gear, and other components.
- Inspect tires, wheels, and wheel-end components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Complete repair and maintenance records.
- Keep the shop and work area clean and safe.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.
Requirements:
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diesel, air brake, electrical, and suspension systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification/Class 1 license is an asset.
Full-time position | Competitive pay based on experience | Overtime available
Pay: $24.69-$28.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
