Swimming Instructor - SunBright Aquatics
Contract Role (Independent Contractor), Part-Time

Who is SunBright Aquatics?
SunBright Aquatics is a company providing private swimming lessons to clients in the comfort of their own backyard, focused in the West GTA. Since 2011, we have had a team of instructors that are focused on creating structured swim classes that cater around the students we are teaching, while creating a fun and enjoyable environment in the water. We provide the best service to our clients, while showing our genuine love for working with children and families. We are looking for instructors to join our 2026 team for the summer starting in May/June 2026, specifically based in Burlington.
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching private and semi-private swimming lessons in home pools
- Age of clients will range from 1.5 years-old to adults
- Lessons will follow the Lifesaving Society Program
- Weekly hours range from 10-20hrs, flexible depending on instructor's commitment level (Payment is $30/hour, not including travel time)
- Opportunity for lifeguarding pool parties for extra hours
- Opportunity to generate extra income by bringing in your own clients (commission-based program)
MUST HAVE Qualifications:
- Successfully completed and current Swim Instructors Course (Or completed by start date)
- Successfully completed and current NLS (Or completed by start date)
- Current First-Aid Course (Or completed by start date)
- Exceptional client service skills
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Access to a car in the summer during working hours
- Experience working with children/families
- Love for swimming and working with children!!
