Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance tasks
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to troubleshoot complex problems
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools and power tools required
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently and accurately
- Prior experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and safety awareness are essential for success in this role
