We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently during service hours, ensuring consistency and presentation quality
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food supplies to prevent waste and spoilage
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations (food safety certification is a plus)
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and restaurant operations
