Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including gluten free and vegan items
- Decorate cakes and desserts with professional cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking stations
- Follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed for special orders or dietary requirements
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in kitchens or bakeries, is preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of packaging techniques for baked goods is a plus
- Kitchen experience involving food handling, cooking, and food industry standards is highly desirable
- Creative flair for cake decorating and presentation techniques is advantageous
