Casual- varying hours.
This position involves supporting a teen in a one-on-one setting. Support is needed in outings, and community access. MUST have experience with individuals with Autism. MUST have the ability to redirect, offer choice, and promote autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Promote engagement with others in social settings.
- Offer safe spaces and breaks for individual when required
- Implement care plan tailored to unique needs.
- Monitor and document client progress and communicate observations to families and supervisors.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Transport participants for outings & activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks are required.
- MANDT/NVCIS or willingness to obtain
