Help residents stay connected, active, and engaged in the community. Guelph Lake Commons is seeking a reliable and service-focused Part-Time Bus Driver to safely transport residents to appointments, outings, activities, and other scheduled destinations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors, takes pride in safe driving practices, and brings a warm, professional presence to every trip.
Schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Additional coverage: Occasional weekday coverage may be needed to support holidays, vacations, or operational needs.

- Obtain authorization from Brightwater to drive company bus/vehicles.

Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Maintain CPR and first aid certification.

Maintain any certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.
- Maintain resident, employee, and community information in strict confidence (with community management or other employees as necessary).

Assist in planning and implementing schedule for community bus or other vehicles.

Drive community bus and other vehicles to and from required destinations safely and according to schedule.

Promptly report any concerns regarding safe and proper functioning of bus or other vehicles to Maintenance Manager.

Assure interiors of bus or other vehicles are neat and clean.

Adhere to all community policies and procedures.

Adhere to dress/appearance code. (Changes in attire may be permitted for special circumstances as directed by your supervisor).

Perform all assigned work for the agreed-upon wage, accepting no additional payment or gifts from residents, vendors, or others.

Promote resident advocacy and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Serve as a role model for other employees by displaying a responsible, cooperative, respectful, and positive attitude.

Represent the community in the community at large in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.

Demonstrate ability to perform duties under time constraints and deadlines.

Attend education and training classes as required by state or provincial regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
