As a Senior Project Coordinator at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by being the lead support to the Project Manager for the proposal submissions and general project coordination while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Project Manager and be accountable for:
- Supporting the end-to-end proposal/RFP/presentation response process to ensure all expectations, actions, and timelines are understood and met.
- Writing, editing, and formatting proposal drafts and final versions to ensure they are accurate, well-written, and persuasive.
- Monitoring the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and holding regular status meetings with all the sub-teams, as well as attending site meetings and records notes/details of necessary information.
- Serving as a key link with the clients and reviewing the deliverables prepared by the team before passing onto client.
- Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
- Providing daily support to the Project Manager as required.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- Completed a Technical Degree or equivalent education and experience (considered an asset).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction administration and coordination (drawing reviews, contract administration, document management, change order procedures, etc.).
- Familiarity with P6 and MS Project software.
- Proficiency in computer Office Suite applications i.e. Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, in addition to familiarity with utilizing ERP’s and Project Software.
- Results-oriented including concern and attention to budgets, schedules, quality levels and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to develop agendas, conduct meetings, prepare minutes and other critical documentation, and develop action plans with appropriate follow-up.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:

- Working on client sites including industrial, institutional, and commercial settings.
