Bridge has become a specialist in the rebuilding of large cylinders. The Company has set itself apart by providing the highest quality refurbishment services.
Recent demand has increased the volume in the shop, and we are looking for a self-motivated and fast-paced Shop Helper to support our Machinists and skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining hydraulic parts to ensure their optimal performance
- Keeping the shop area clean and organized
- Cleaning machinist shop equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining the yard
- Material handling including operating a forklift and overhead crane in order to move parts.
- Painting parts and components
- Local pick-up/deliveries - valid driver's license is mandatory
Qualifications & Abilities:
- Valid class 5 driver's license.
- Must have experience moving parts by operating a forklift and overhead crane.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Resourceful and mechanically inclined.
- Dependable and consistent in attendance, quality, and productivity.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with painting is considered an asset.
Working Conditions:
- General manufacturing shop specializing in cylinder rebuilds
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fast-paced environment requiring high attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods of time
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
