Canyon Creek Toyota is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Detailer to join our team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our vehicles are presented to the highest standards for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle detailing, reconditioning, paint protection film (PPF) installations, and assisting with vehicle wash operations as needed.

Day in the Life
- Complete vehicle reconditioning tasks to prepare inventory for sale.
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing on new, used, and customer vehicles.
- Installation of PPF on vehicles according to dealership standards.
- Apply protective coatings and vehicle appearance products as required.
- Conduct paint decontamination, polishing, and minor cosmetic correction work.
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailing equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with vehicle washing and lot presentation during busy periods.
- Move vehicles safely within dealership property.
- Work closely with the sales and service departments to meet delivery timelines.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with PPF installation is an asset; training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 provincial driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- This is a physically active role that requires:
- Frequent walking throughout the dealership, lot, shop, and detailing areas
- Extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
- Regular handling of cleaning products, detailing chemicals, tools, and installation equipment
- Operation of vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions
- Significant time working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (weather conditions are monitored for safety when necessary)
