The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a results-oriented Parts Manager for our Cam Clark Ford, Richmond location.

In the position of Parts Manager, reporting to Parts and Service Manager, you will be responsible for the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the parts department operations.
You will be accountable for:
- Lead the daily operations of the Parts Department to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives and monitor performance against established targets.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Parts Department team members.
- Manage inventory levels to support dealership operations, service requirements, wholesale accounts, and retail customers.
- Maintain appropriate inventory controls and stock ordering procedures to maximize parts turnover while minimizing obsolescence.
- Analyze inventory performance and implement strategies to improve gross profit and departmental performance.
- Develop and maintain competitive pricing structures while ensuring profitability and customer retention.
- Ensure accurate processing of returns, warranty parts, and manufacturer credits.
- Foster strong working relationships with the Service Department to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor departmental expenses and assist in the preparation and management of the annual operating budget.
- Conduct regular team meetings and participate in dealership management meetings.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience as a Parts Manager, Assistant Parts Manager, or senior Parts professional within an automotive dealership environment.
- Strong inventory management, forecasting, and purchasing experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Strong understanding of parts operations, inventory controls, and dealership best practices.
- Ability to develop and grow both wholesale and retail parts business.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a unionized dealership environment and the ability to effectively manage within a collective bargaining framework.
- Demonstrated experience building positive working relationships with union representatives and employees.
- Knowledge of collective agreement obligations, scheduling practices, and workforce management in a unionized setting is considered a strong asset.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
