Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in food prep activities to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Knowledge of food industry best practices is preferred.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset
