Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook with knowledge of Indian Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including equipment and utensils
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or servers in a timely manner
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Indian food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in the food industry is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus
