Overview
This position is for the Calgary Stampede ONLY. Candidate must be available Jul 2 - 13.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met. As a vital part of our food service operations, you will contribute to a positive dining experience and help maintain a clean and efficient work environment. MUST HAVE OR OBTAIN FOOD SAFE CERTIFICATE.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the food preparation area, dining area, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Experience in cash handling with attention to detail for accuracy.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and commitment to maintaining food safety standards.
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prepare food items while adhering to quality standards.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing help and support to customers.
- Good culinary and knife skills
