Eganridge Resort is looking for an experienced Sous Chef. This is are year round, permanent positions -- we do not lay off kitchen staff in the winter. In addition to wages, kitchen staff also participate in tip sharing.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to ensure service continuity
- responsible to ensure staff maintains work areas in a clean, orderly manner and that all staff abides by policies of the Health & Safety authority.
- maintain the proper, orderly rotation of stock, maintain minimal inventory and minimize waste in the kitchen.
- Responsible for successfully prioritizing mise en place.
- To be familiar with all kitchen equipment, and to familiarize oneself with their immediate surroundings within the restaurant.
- conscientious about reducing restaurant waste.
- Prepare the orders immediately upon receipt and communicate efficiently with the service staff.
- To leave kitchen area completely clean, organized and restock line for following shift.
- knowledge of all company policies and adhere to them.
- Give and take direction and work well within a team kitchen environment as well as independently.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:
- Sous Chef: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
