Title: Talent Acquisition Partner
Status: Full Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75, 000
Location: In Office w hybrid opportunities
About the Role
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who is excited to build, improve, and challenge the way recruitment gets done.
This is not a role where you will walk into a perfectly packaged Talent Acquisition program with every process, tool, and metric already figured out. We have a strong foundation, a growing business, and plenty of opportunity to take our recruitment function to the next level.
You will take a close look at how we recruit today, identify what is working (and what could work a whole lot better), and help create a Talent Acquisition program that is scalable, consistent, and built for our business.
From workforce planning and recruitment processes to employer branding, candidate experience, technology, and reporting, you will work closely with our People & Culture team and leaders across Canada to strengthen our recruitment strategy, improve the candidate and hiring manager experience, and find better ways to connect great people with great opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take a fresh look at our current recruitment practices and help build the roadmap for Talent Acquisition at Alpine
- Create and enhance recruitment processes, tools, and programs that are consistent, practical, and scalable
- Partner with leaders to understand current and future hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies that work
- Build talent pipelines for high volume, operational, specialized, and leadership roles
- Lead recruitment for key and critical positions across the business
- Strengthen our sourcing strategy and explore new ways to reach talent beyond traditional job postings
- Improve the candidate experience from first contact through to offer
- Make the hiring experience easier and more effective for our leaders
- Help build Alpine's employer brand and find creative ways to tell our story
- Enhance how we use technology and other recruitment tools to support hiring
- Build meaningful Talent Acquisition reporting and metrics, including time to fill, time to hire, offer acceptance, and source effectiveness
- Use recruitment data and trends to identify where we can improve
- Support recruitment planning for new business, transitions, and high-volume hiring and build talent pipelines before roles become urgent
- Coach leaders on interviewing, selection, and making great hiring decisions
- Support special projects, other duties, events, and changing operational requirements
Who You Are
- 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or recruitment experience
- Experience building, improving, or evolving recruitment programs
- Strong experience partnering with hiring managers and leaders
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-site, or operational environment is an asset
- Strong sourcing skills and a willingness to try new approaches
- Experience using recruitment data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
- Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
- A practical mindset and the ability to turn ideas into action
- Confidence to ask questions, challenge how things are done, and bring people along with you
- A sense of humour and the ability to adapt when priorities change (because they will)
Why You'll Like It Here
This is an opportunity to build, not just maintain.
You will have the space to bring forward ideas, challenge how we recruit today, and help create a Talent Acquisition program that supports where Alpine is going next.
We are evolving and always looking for better ways to work. If you enjoy building programs, solving recruitment challenges, and seeing the impact of your work, you will fit right in.
