Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda, one of the top-performing Mazda dealerships in Ontario, is currently looking for an Assistant Sales Manager who is driven, disciplined, and focused on results.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the automotive business and wants to take the next step in their career. While management experience is an asset, we are open to developing the right candidate — particularly top-performing sales professionals who have a proven track record and want to move into leadership.
We are looking for someone who can help push the store to the next level, lead by example, and hold the team accountable to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the sales floor
- Support and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets
- Work directly with customers to assist with negotiations and closing deals
- Ensure the showroom environment is professional, organized, and customer-focused
- Monitor salesperson activity including follow-ups, appointments, and lead management
- Assist in training, coaching, and developing sales staff
- Help implement sales strategies and promotions to drive traffic and conversions
- Maintain compliance with OMVIC regulations and dealership policies
- Work closely with the General Manager and management team to improve overall performance
What We Are Looking For
- Proven automotive sales experience with strong results

- Strong closing and negotiation skills

- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Knowledge of financing options and dealership sales processes
Candidates applying from a sales role must be able to provide documentation showing consistent performance, including:
- Sales performance reports
- Monthly sales averages
- Awards or recognition (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years automotive sales experience
- OMVIC License (required)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous management or floor manager experience is an asset but not required
