With our continued growth in Canada, we are seeking Title Insurance Coordinator, Bilingual.
Primary Responsibilities:

Order Management: Open new title insurance orders received through phone, fax, or email, ensuring accurate entry of information into an internal database.

Client Inquiries: Address client inquiries, take and follow up on title insurance orders, and effectively manage client concerns.

Follow-Up Procedures: Proactively communicate with clients to obtain the necessary information and documentation required for the issuance of title insurance policies.

Policy Coordination: Facilitate the efficient issuance of title insurance policies among external clients, the internal underwriting team, and business development staff. Conduct comprehensive searches across both internal and external databases, such as the land registry, REQ, and JLR, while systematically organizing the search results for future reference.

Client Communication: Engage with clients through various channels, including incoming calls in a call center environment and email correspondence, taking ownership of requests and escalations.

Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients, providing an exceptional customer experience for lawyers, notaries, and law clerks.

Complaint Resolution: Manage client complaints by offering appropriate solutions and alternatives within established timeframes; follow up to ensure resolution.

Needs Assessment: Identify and assess client needs to achieve satisfaction.

Conflict Resolution: Effectively handle difficult client interactions, de-escalate challenging situations, and diplomatically resolve customer issues.

Independent and Team Collaboration: Work independently to identify and address client needs while also participating as part of a team to provide timely and appropriate solutions.

Commitment Fulfillment: Follow through on commitments made to clients, ensuring successful resolutions are delivered in a professional and tactful manner.

Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall goals of the team and organization.
Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English is required.

Experience in a law firm and/or title insurance environment is considered an asset.

Knowledge and understanding of residential real estate practices is considered an asset.

Post-secondary diploma/degree, or equivalent work experience.

Experienced self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong phone handling skills and active listening abilities.

Proven customer service experience.

Highly professional with a customer service focus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve with minimal direction.

Flexible team player who works well under pressure with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.

Advanced computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office

Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain certification as a damage insurance agent from l’Autorité des marchés financiers within two months of completing probation, with costs covered by the company.

Must be available to work varied shifts. Our hours of operation are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
