About the Position
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and physically fit person who is comfortable on the ground and in the machine. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality work, can operate a variety of equipment with precision, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and compactors
- Comfortable grading and using a laser level
- Assist with landscaping tasks including site prep, soil work, drainage, and hardscape installation
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Work on the ground as required — shoveling, raking, lifting, and general labour
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite
- Communicate effectively with the team and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Strong understanding of grading, elevations, and laser level use
- Mechanical aptitude — ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Physically fit and able to perform labour-intensive tasks
- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
