We are seeking a committed Staff Pharmacist to become part of a flourishing community pharmacy in Pembroke, ON. If you are an Ottawa pharmacist frustrated by traffic congestion, high-volume stores lacking support, and a high cost of living that diminishes every raise—this role is for you.
What This Opportunity Provides
- Hourly rate of $65 to $67—among the highest staff pharmacist wages in Eastern Ontario
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 with a 1-year commitment, or $20,000 with a 2-year commitment
- 2 to 3 weeks of paid vacation
- A well-supported team comprising 1-2 pharmacists, 3 registered technicians, and 13 pharmacy assistants, enabling you to operate at your full license capacity instead of being overwhelmed by dispensing duties

Pembroke and the neighboring Ottawa Valley have restricted primary care access, making your role essential. Your work goes beyond dispensing—you will act as a frontline healthcare provider for a community depending on you. Our services encompass:
- Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT)
- MedsCheck reviews
- Minor ailment assessment and prescribing
- Travel health consultations
- Blister pack/compliance packaging
- Immunizations
With a daily average of 300 to 400 prescriptions and an expanding patient base, you will remain engaged and challenged, with robust team support to keep volumes manageable.
