Responsibilities
- Greet festival attendees warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Present and demonstrate jewelry products confidently, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchases
- Assist customers with product selections, upselling additional items to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising and organization
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure all products are well-presented throughout the event
- Communicate product information clearly in multiple languages if applicable, ensuring all customers feel valued and understood
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred, especially in jewelry or fashion accessories
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math for cash handling and POS transactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours during the festival duration
- Tech-savvy with familiarity using POS systems, tablets, or other sales technology tools
- Friendly phone etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills to connect with customers effectively
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
