We are a progressive, medium-sized grain farm in Alberta seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class 1 Driver / Farm Operator to join our team. This is a year-round position offering a mix of truck driving, equipment operation, maintenance, and general farm responsibilities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys agriculture, takes pride in operating and maintaining equipment, and is looking for long-term employment with a well-managed farming operation.
Key Responsibilities
Harvest Season
- Haul grain safely and efficiently using Super B grain trailers.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with harvest operations as required.
- Ensure trucks and equipment are clean, safe, and well maintained.
Year-Round
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and farm equipment.
- Operate agricultural equipment during seeding, spraying, harvest, and other seasonal operations.
- Assist with yard maintenance, grain handling, and general farm duties.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience hauling grain or agricultural products is preferred.
- Experience operating farm equipment is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to work extended hours during peak seasons.
