The Team
The billing and customer systems function manages the full revenue cycle — from invoice generation and delivery accuracy to process optimization, reporting, and cross-functional support. The team acts as the operational backbone for customer financial transactions and continuously drives improvements across the billing ecosystem.
The Role: Data Analyst — Billing & Revenue Operations
We are recruiting a Data Analyst to support billing integrity, revenue assurance, and operational analytics for a fast-paced customer systems team. This role functions as a key business partner to operations, finance, and technology stakeholders — translating complex data into clear insights that improve accuracy, reduce leakage, and support strategic decision-making.You will own KPI reporting, conduct end-to-end process reviews, and deliver trend analysis and recommendations that directly impact the bottom line.
What You'll Do
- Develop deep knowledge of the billing, payment, and customer communication platforms that power the revenue cycle
- Proactively monitor data trends, identify integrity gaps, and flag risks or opportunities to leadership
- Design and maintain dashboards and recurring reports (regular and ad-hoc) to track operational and financial performance
- Deliver value-added analysis that informs process changes and drives measurable improvements
- Support the full billing lifecycle including reporting, auditing, and workflow optimization
- Map current-state processes and contribute to future-state functional designs
- Build trusted relationships across internal teams and external partners
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and best practices
- Support project delivery and change initiatives as needed
What You Bring
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business operations support, or revenue-focused analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; strong PowerPoint skills; SQL experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP or billing platforms (SAP S/4HANA or similar is an asset)
- Comfortable working with large datasets, building models, and interpreting complex information
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate data into stories for non-technical audiences
- Collaborative, adaptable, and aligned with values of integrity and inclusivity
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON
