We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate with potential management opportunities for qualified candidates. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards
- Provide exceptional customer service through active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, offering product information and support
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising tasks
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
- Take on additional responsibilities such as training new staff or supervising team members if qualified for management opportunities and assisting with marketing and merchandising to name a few.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; experience in technology sales or product demos is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and POS transactions
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, POS systems, and retail operations preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required
- Demonstrated leadership qualities or interest in management roles is advantageous for career advancement opportunities
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
