Acden Aves is an environmental services company providing bird and wildlife deterrent services at various oil sands mines. We are seeking a Field Support Labourers to join our team.
This position will report to our various client sites to assist the bird deterrent team (tailings) as necessary. This may include working from our town shop, or traveling as necessary to our client sites. Field Support Labourers will perform various functions, such as replacing propane tanks, general maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.
Our ideal candidates has:
· A valid class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
· The ability to work outdoors in all types of weather;
· Experience operating small boats and being on the water;
· Experience working in the field in a heavy industrial (mine) environment.

- This position requires the ability to travel and stay in camps on short notice to assist the bird deterrent teams at our various client sites. You may also be assisting at our town maintenance shop. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same.
You'll be doing a variety of things, from replacing propane tanks, performing basic mechanical work, or assisting our marine crew in the operation of work boats.
