Housekeeping Supervisors are responsible for all day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Supervisors must ensure Sparkling Hill cleanliness standards are met in all guest rooms, public areas and meeting spaces.
Staff accommodation is potentially available in double rooms for full-time Sparkling Hill employees, working 40 hours per week.

The Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include:
- Training new employees according to Sparkling Hill standards.
- Developing and coaching a diverse team of housekeepers.
- Overseeing/assisting in the inventory, storage and control of housekeeping items.
- Ensuring that all lost and found articles are stored properly and correctly logged.
- Ensuring that guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas and holding team members accountable for corrective action.
- Hands on cleaning in multiple areas and laundry tasks when necessary
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by interacting and responding positively with guests and taking immediate actions to resolve problems.
- Ensuring that the yearly cleaning projects are completed (deep cleaning).
- Ensure all Work Safe and WHIMS and safety standards are maintained
- Provide orientation, feedback and recognition to all colleagues
- Opening and closing of the department, prepare room attendants daily assignment
- Reporting all maintenance issues
- Other duties as directed
Requirements:
- Housekeeping experience required
- Approachable, positive attitude, self-starter, team player, work under pressure and meet deadlines, lead by example.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Ability to work under pressure and in a demanding, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Excellent organizational, time management and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
