About the Role
Helm and Sons Plumbing, Heating and Electrical are looking for skilled, licensed trades professionals — Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians — to join our growing team. You’ll work on a mix of residential and commercial projects, performing service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations with a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems
- Complete service calls efficiently and accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional recommendations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards
- Work independently or as part of a team depending on the job
- Accurately document work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC license (Ontario)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in residential and commercial environments
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
- Gas Technician certification (G2/G3) is an asset for HVAC roles
- 313A/313D Refrigeration license is an asset
- Additional trade licenses are a bonus
