Electrical/Mechanical Engineers with expertise in industrial automation, specializing in robotic and automation machine design to our Intelligent Systems Team. In this role you will influence early phase design, develop concepts, prototype, test and prepare innovative, robust, high-quality products for commercialization, and troubleshoot the production and technical support functions.

What You’ll Do
- System level design, integration, troubleshooting, and electrical/electronic hardware validation for new and existing products.
- Design, develop, and improve robotic and automation systems, focusing on electrical and mechanical design.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations for electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for mechanical and electrical design.
- Design and optimize PCB layouts using tools like Altium, Kicad, or Allegro.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for all designs.
- Support, service, and troubleshoot existing products, including site visits and customer interaction (travel approx. 5-10%).
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams for design and problem-solving.
- Electrical cabinet layout design and power distribution.
- Board level design, ICT, and troubleshooting for new and existing products.
- Create design documentation for new products such as logic drawings, automation parameter files, wiring diagrams, single line diagram, schematics, assembly instructions, specifications, and test procedures.
- Specify and approve required validation testing for new product designs as well as production line QA testing such as Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
- Design utilizing tools such as DFMA, DFMEA, and QFD in accordance with ISO9001 procedures.
Who You Are And What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in the design of automation and robotics systems.
- Skilled in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Control Systems: theory & practice
- Willingness to travel for customer support and troubleshooting.
- 3-8 years of experience required.
