Job Description
KidKademy Child Care, a non-profit centre, is seeking a caring and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports toddlers' learning, development, and well-being.
Previous experience working specifically with toddlers is required.
Toddler Room Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of toddlers.
- Plan and provide age-appropriate learning and play activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and language development.
- Respond to individual needs and support children with diverse abilities.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Observe children's development and communicate relevant information with families and colleagues.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of childcare experience, specifically working with toddlers.
- Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current PCCC.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with toddlers and young children.
