We have an opportunity for a Labourer in the Commercial sector in our Edmonton region! We are seeking candidates who are skilled, knowledgeable, experienced and driven to succeed in our business. The role of the Labourer is to perform tasks involving physical labour at commercial and light industrial construction sites. The tasks may involve utilizing hand and power tools, equipment, building materials, safety guards and equipment. The tasks may be performed individually or assisting other workers on site. We are proud of our remarkable Carlson team, and are seeking an individual who leads by example and has a proven track record.
Specifically, the Labourer will perform a varied amount of laborious tasks within the realm of the commercial or industrial construction site, as per guidance and direction of the Superintendent or Site Supervisor.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in Skilled Labourer positions, while in a commercial construction environment
- Knowledgeable and competent in operating power tools
- Knowledgeable and experienced in safety aspects while working in commercial construction setting
- Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Self-directed individual, who also can follow direction well

At this time, we are not seeking candidates with pipeline, heavy equipment, industrial or rig hand experience. We are focusing on candidates with experience that more closely aligns with our current needs.
