Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim
- Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools to apply paint in a neat and efficient manner
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working with paints and chemicals
- Clean and maintain painting equipment after each use
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications
Skills:
- Familiarity with drywall repair techniques and the ability to patch holes and cracks prior to painting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work with clean lines and smooth finishes
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps or joints prior to painting
