About the Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented team member to join our Fabrication department as a Production Planner (Programmer). In this role, you will develop and schedule production plans to meet customer delivery requirements and ensure the materials are produced on time for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production plans and schedules for production lines using in-house software.
- Review and analyze production variance reports to ensure production plans are in place to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Analyze material requirements planning to maintain inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Create technical drawings according to customer specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Post-Secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Recent post-secondary graduate or minimum of 1 year of experience in production and raw material planning, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong proficiency in Auto CAD is required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of inventory planning fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
