(1 x Core French 8/9, 1 x Food 8/9)
Temporary: September 1, 2026 – January 29, 2027, or full return of the incumbent
NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date. The FTE of the assignment may also be adjusted throughout the assignment based on the incumbent's return.
Qualifications:
- BC Certification
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
- Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in the above subjects
- Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
- Previous successful experience teaching the above subjects
- Experience with a variety of learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $64,012 to $118,237, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
