We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and guest service-oriented individuals to join our Front Desk Team for part-time evening shifts - 3PM to 11PM . As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the primary point of contact between our guests and our establishment, so it is imperative that you have a guest service attitude and ensure guest satisfaction while on shift. You must demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidates must be able to work well both as part of our team and independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform check-in and check-out tasks
- Process and post payments
- Make and manage online, telephone, and walk-in reservations
- Answer calls on and operate the switchboard
- Place and process delivery orders
- Inform guests about rooms, rates and amenities
- Provide information and recommendations about the surrounding area
- Assist guests with inquiries, problems and complaints
- Communicate with other departments and staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle, count and balance cash throughout every shift
- Perform and complete all duties on daily checklist
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- General cleaning and sanitizing of guest and staff areas
Requirements:
- Guest service oriented and positive attitude
- Demonstrate ability to deliver above expectations to a global clientele
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is an asset
