Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
· Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
· Inspect and assess machinery and equipment for wear and damage.
· Troubleshoot and conduct repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
· Identify and replace worn bearings and shafts at various machine stations.
· Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment.
· Operate hoisting and lifting devices safely to position machinery and parts.
· Utilize machine tools for fabrication as needed.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
· Completion of Millwright courses.
Qualifications:
· Valid journeyman's millwright ticket.
· Welding ticket or welding experience is an asset.
Skills:
· Proficient in cutting and welding.
· Experienced in fabrication.
· Basic electrical / PLC knowledge is an asset.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong manual dexterity.
· Effective problem-solving abilities.
· Team player with the ability to work independently.
· Demonstrates a natural sense of urgency while prioritizing safety.
Benefits:
· Extended health, dental, vision & clothing allowance are all included after 60 calendar days worked.
· Pension plan is available after 12 months of full-time employment.
· Salary: Starting at $51.10 per hour.
· Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
