We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Labourer (Casual) to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support ongoing projects, maintain site safety, and ensure smooth operations across different work environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, physically active setting while contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. We are actively looking for employees to be available for casual, on-demand shifts.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with general site clean-up, organizing materials, and preparing work areas for upcoming tasks
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision when necessary, adhering to safety guidelines
- Help with demolition, excavation, or construction activities as directed by supervisors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in construction or industrial settings
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and task coordination
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Reliable attendance record with a strong sense of responsibility
- Previous experience in general labour or construction is an asset but not mandatory
- Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation an asset
