Hungry Zus is seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to guests in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and experience in the food industry. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering prompt and courteous service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, following proper safety protocols.
- Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash register operations and process payments accurately.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or barista work is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
