Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team! Level 1, 2 or 3 required! The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning through play. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom experience, and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Bilingual abilities, experience working with children with disabilities, are highly valued. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure each child's growth and well-being are prioritized.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance & assessments
- Collaborate with inclusion education staff to support children with diverse needs
- Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Manage classroom routines efficiently through strong organizational skills and time management
Skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are highly desirable
- Experience with childcare, early childhood education,
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with children with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s development while fostering a collaborative classroom environment
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in diverse settings
- Effective time management skills to balance activity planning, and administrative tasks
- Writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication purposes

Pay: $25.11-$31.56 per hour
