Production Builder in Saint John, NB. This is a
temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive wages, and the chance to grow within a fast-paced production environment. What’s in it for you?
- Wage: $ 19 – 21/hr (based on experience)
- Night Shift: Monday – Thursday (5:00 pm – 3:00 am)
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate products in accordance with drawings, measurements, and production requirements
- Safely operate production equipment and cutting machinery, including saws and basic shop tools
- Complete carpentry-related tasks such as measuring, cutting, fastening, and assembling materials
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure workmanship and quality standards are met
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety expectations
- Work closely with production staff and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, production issues, or safety concerns
- Perform additional duties as required in a production or builder-focused environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous carpentry or construction experience is required
- Experience operating cutting or production machinery is a strong asset
- Ability to read measurements, use hand tools, and follow build instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- CSA-approved safety boots are mandatory
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is considered an asset
- Successful completion of a background check
