Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves taking orders, serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage multiple tables effectively through strong time management skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and cash transactions
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light loads as needed
