Purebread Bakery and Coho Commissary is a family of brands that empowers food and beverage entrepreneurs to scale and gain exposure by offering facilities, equipment, and support through our network of commissary kitchens, retail spaces, and restaurants. With bakery locations across BC and a vision to grow nationally, we're building the team that will help take the brand to its next chapter.
The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across Purebread Brands. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being in the mix – from helping shoot and create content to building local community connections. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager to keep campaigns moving, stores supported, and the brand showing up consistently across all channels.
The Details
This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC – candidates must be local. You'll work a mix of remote and in-person days, with in-person time driven by things like content, photoshoots, events, activations, or meetings. Core hours are 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday, with the occasional evenings or weekends depending on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Support the execution of local marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Assist with graphic design needs, collateral updates, and day-to-day creative production
- Support content creation, content gathering, and content editing across social and digital channels
- Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling across social media channels
- Help manage local marketing calendars and store-specific initiatives
- Conduct outreach to local businesses, offices, schools, sports teams, and community organizations to support campaign promotion, drive awareness, and build meaningful connections within each market
- Support influencer outreach and event logistics
- Assist with tracking, reporting, and general day-to-day marketing coordination
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, graphic design, communications, or hospitality role is an asset
- Strong graphic design skills, comfortable working in Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
- Experience creating and editing content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
- A genuine interest in food, hospitality, and what drives a great guest experience
- A passion for marketing, brand building, and finding creative ways to connect with our local community
- Strong communication skills and a good eye for brand consistency
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
